Salesforce Implementation and Consulting

Background
The Virginia Resources Authority (VRA) is seeking to engage a qualified firm to provide Salesforce implementation and consulting services. VRA works with various political subdivisions in Virginia to provide low-cost loans for critical projects, having funded over 3,500 projects since its inception in 1984. Currently, VRA does not utilize a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and has identified Salesforce Sales Cloud as the best fit for their needs.

The primary objective of this project is to configure Salesforce to enhance contact management, track interactions with borrowers, and improve visibility into the loan pipeline.

Work Details
The selected contractor will be responsible for implementing and supporting a Salesforce system that meets VRA's requirements. Key services include:
- Project planning
- Business process mapping
- System design and customization, including customizing objects and fields, automating workflows, and creating custom reports and dashboards
- Data migration from existing sources such as loan servicing software and spreadsheets
- System testing
- Training for VRA staff
- Deployment of the system.

Post-deployment support will include system monitoring, training on new features, iterative improvements, and planning for future enhancements. Specific project goals include consolidating contact information, tracking interactions with borrowers, providing visibility into the loan pipeline, and generating accurate reporting.

Period of Performance
The contract will have an initial term of one year starting around January 1, 2025. It may be renewed for up to four additional one-year periods at VRA's request.

The services will be performed at the Virginia Resources Authority's office located at 1111 East Main Street, Suite 1920 Richmond, Virginia 23219.
