RRJ-116-25 Correctional Supplies

Background
The Riverside Regional Jail is seeking proposals for the provision of correctional supplies to support its operations. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the jail has access to necessary supplies for inmate management and facility maintenance. This solicitation is issued under IFB #RRJ-116-25, dated April 4, 2025.

Work Details
The contract includes a variety of correctional supplies such as:

- Inmate uniforms (shirts and pants)
- Jumpsuits
- Step-in shoes (navy blue)
- Slip-on sandals (tan)
- Work boots (black acceptable)
- T-shirts
- Briefs
- Boxers
- Sanitary napkins
- Nitrile gloves (minimum 4 MIL)
- Other related items.

Bidders are required to provide samples of each item they bid on. For clothing items, only one size and one color sample per item is needed. Pricing should be provided per box rather than by individual items. The frequency of orders will be as needed, and the contract allows for multiple vendors to be awarded items.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for one year with the option for four additional one-year renewals. Price increases can only occur at renewal periods and must be requested 30 days prior to renewal, based on the Consumer Price Index with a maximum increase of 2.5%.

Place of Performance
All deliveries will be made to Riverside Regional Jail located at 500 FOLAR Trail, North Prince George, VA 23860.
