Background
The Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority (RRHA) is seeking bids for Janitorial Services at various sites around Richmond. The contract is for a one-year term with the option for four one-year renewals. The invitation for bid was issued on May 29, 2024.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide janitorial services, including furnishing all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, parts and materials, insurance, bonds, transportation, etc. The services include daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual cleaning tasks for various locations such as floors, restrooms, glass, walls, fixtures, elevators, gymnasiums and janitor's closets.

The contractor must also provide cleaning products that meet the contract requirements and maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) on all cleaning products. Additionally, the contractor must use specific equipment and procedures and ensure proper training of employees. Special cleaning services may be required upon request by RRHA.

Period of Performance
The contract has a one-year term with the option for four one-year renewals.

The janitorial services will be performed at various sites around Richmond.
