Background
The Stafford County Economic Development Department is seeking quotes for website services and marketing support as part of its mission to promote economic growth in one of the fastest growing counties in Virginia. The county encompasses 173,000 acres, with a significant portion utilized by the federal government, and has an estimated population of 146,649. This RFQ aims to establish a contract that will enhance the online presence and marketing efforts of the department.

Work Details
The contractor will provide website services including hosting, maintenance, and redesign of the Stafford County Economic Development website which is currently hosted on WordPress. Specific tasks include:

1. Comprehensive redesign of the website tailored for Economic Development purposes including strategic planning, UX/UI design, content development, responsive design, SEO optimization, integration of tools (contact forms, event calendars), performance metrics setup, and staff training.

2. Ongoing website management including content updates, system updates (code and plugins), data backups, technology support, and hosting management.

3. Development of microsites as needed with domain management.

4. Compliance with data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA) and accessibility standards (ADA and WCAG 2.1).

5. Integration with Google Analytics for tracking site performance.

6. Digital advertising capabilities across various platforms including social media and programmatic ads.

Period of Performance
The contract is set to begin on March 1, 2025, for a term of one year with two optional one-year renewals.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed primarily online but may require occasional meetings at the Stafford County Economic Development Department's office.
