RFP #R25269 Mathematics Resource Adoption 2025

Background
Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) is the third largest school division in Virginia, established in 1870 and located in the rapidly growing Washington metro area. Each year, approximately 2,500 new students enroll, necessitating the opening of one to three new school facilities.

The goal of mathematics education in LCPS is to engage students in a rigorous curriculum that fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication. This RFP aims to solicit proposals for the adoption of curriculum textbooks and instructional resources for Mathematics to be implemented in Fall 2025.

Work Details
The RFP seeks proposals for Mathematics resources across Elementary, Middle, and High School levels. Specific courses include:
- Elementary School: Kindergarten through Fifth Grade
- Middle School: Math 6, Math 7, Pre-Algebra/Math 8, Intro to Computer Science, Computer Science Foundations
- High School: AET Integrated Mathematics I & II, AOS Integrated Math I & II, AP Calculus AB & BC, AP Statistics, Algebra I & II, Geometry, Trigonometry/Advanced Algebra.

Offerors must provide both physical and digital textbooks/resources that align with the 2023 Virginia Standards of Learning for Mathematics. Additionally, they should offer customer support for teachers and staff using these materials. Digital resources must meet specific technical requirements and integration protocols such as Azure (SSO), IMS Global LTI, Clever, etc. Multiple contracts may be awarded based on the needs of LCPS.

Period of Performance
The contract will begin one year from July 2025 or the date of award (whichever is later) and includes four optional one-year renewal periods.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed within Loudoun County Public Schools located in Ashburn, Virginia.
