Background
George Mason University (Mason) is a public institution of higher education located in Virginia, recognized for its innovative and entrepreneurial approach to education. The university aims to enhance its Information Technology Services (ITS) through this Request for Proposal (RFP), seeking qualified vendors to provide 'as needed' IT consulting and staff augmentation services. The goal is to supplement the existing ITS workforce and support project-specific IT consulting needs.

Work Details
The contract will encompass the following services:

1. IT Staff-Augmentation Services: Vendors will provide temporary personnel to support various IT functions, including application integration, data center operations, cybersecurity, project management, and more. Specific roles may include expertise in key applications such as Ellucian Banner, Canvas, Salesforce, and others.

2. On-Demand IT Consulting Services: Contractors will serve as technology experts on special projects, providing recommendations and solutions based on research and implementation needs. They must demonstrate experience in change management, security services, data analytics, systems development, and more.

Period of Performance
The contract period is one year from the effective date with nine successive one-year renewal options.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at George Mason University's campuses located in Fairfax, Arlington, and Prince William counties in Virginia.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must be registered with eVA (Virginia's electronic procurement system) and comply with SWaM certification requirements if applicable. They must also ensure their employees are eligible to work in the U.S., maintain necessary bonding and insurance coverage, and adhere to all relevant labor laws.
