Background
The Norfolk Airport Authority (NAA) is seeking a qualified provider to support its network and network security infrastructure. As a critical transportation hub, NAA requires robust IT systems to ensure operational efficiency, cybersecurity, and compliance with industry standards.
The selected Proposer will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive suite of services to maintain, secure, and optimize NAA’s IT environment while supporting long-term technology planning and innovation.
Work Details
The Proposer must provide the following services:
- 24x7x365 Help Desk support (Tier 1-3)
- Proactive server/network monitoring
- Business continuity and disaster recovery solutions
- Cybersecurity measures including antivirus and anti-spam protections
- Vulnerability testing
- End-user security awareness training
- On-site and remote support for networking and Microsoft 365 applications
- Lifecycle management for hardware/software
- Software licensing control
- Asset inventory management
- Break/fix support
- Move/add/change (MAC) services
- Desktop software standardization
- Managed SOC-as-a-service for continuous threat monitoring.
The Proposer will also work closely with NAA’s IT team to establish technology strategy planning and maintain service level agreements.
Period of Performance
The contract term will be for five (5) years with the option for the Authority to extend annually for a maximum of three (3) additional years. The performance of services will begin immediately upon execution of the contract.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Norfolk International Airport and potentially other locations as required by NAA.
Bidder Requirements
Respondents must have at least five (5) years of experience in providing network and network security services. They must be independent entities without financial entanglements with vendors engaged in financial transactions related to NAA's network systems.
Additionally, respondents must certify that they are authorized to conduct business in Virginia.
