RFP# FY25-102-03 NAA IT Consultant

Background
The Norfolk Airport Authority is seeking qualified professional technology consulting vendors to provide Information Technology (IT) consultant support services for its computer-based information technologies system and network. The goal of this contract is to enhance the Authority's IT systems and ensure proper implementation of new technologies while maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Work Details
The IT Consultant will be responsible for:

1. Conducting a detailed review and assessment of existing IT systems, infrastructure, and processes to evaluate performance, scalability, and security;

2. Performing a gap analysis to identify shortcomings and vulnerabilities;

3. Documenting findings in a comprehensive report;

4. Assessing the feasibility of proposed IT solutions;

5. Aligning IT needs with business objectives;

6. Developing an IT strategy and roadmap;

7. Defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables;

8. Coordinating with internal teams for resource availability;

9. Engaging stakeholders for feedback;

10. Staying updated on industry trends to provide recommendations;

11. Developing training programs for end-users;

12. Preparing comprehensive documentation including an IT Master Plan;

13. Regularly monitoring project progress and conducting testing for quality assurance.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2028, with the possibility of annual extensions based on appropriations.

Place of Performance
Services will primarily be performed at the Norfolk Airport Authority facilities.
