The School Board of Stafford County, operating as Stafford County Public Schools, is seeking proposals for temporary employment services to support various school-based positions.
Stafford County is one of the fastest-growing counties in Virginia, with a population of approximately 146,649 and a school membership of around 29,485 students across multiple educational facilities including elementary, middle, and high schools.
Work Details
The successful offeror(s) will provide temporary employment services on an on-call basis for various school-based positions. Services include:
- Conducting assessments such as Functional Vision Assessments (FVA), Learning Media Assessments (LMA), and Orientation & Mobility assessments.
- Participating in assistive technology evaluations.
- Referring students for evaluations and additional services.
- Preparing reports and interpreting evaluation results.
- Providing direct instruction in areas such as visual efficiency, Braille, assistive technology, and social skills.
- Modifying environments to accommodate student needs and maintaining student files.
- Ensuring all personnel have valid licensure and are fingerprinted with background checks prior to service commencement.
- Providing training to educational teams while maintaining confidentiality of student records.
Period of Performance
The contract will be effective from the date of award through June 30, 2026, with the possibility of renewal for up to eight additional successive one-year periods.

Services will be performed at various locations within Stafford County Public Schools.
