Background
The University of Virginia is seeking to establish a roster of general contracting firms for its Sitework On-Demand Construction Program. Work Details
Contractors will be required to perform a range of construction services including:
- Excavation
- Installation of underground utility tunnels
- Chilled water lines
- Heating water lines
- Electrical ductbanks
- Sanitary sewer systems
- Domestic water lines
- Structural concrete work.

The procurement process will involve Competitive Sealed Bidding and Emergency Projects where the selection of contractors will be based on the lowest bid deemed most suitable for the specific project.
