RFP 25-04 Environmental and Landfill Services

Background
The Rivanna Solid Waste Authority and Rivanna Water and Sewer Authority, located at 695 Moores Creek Lane, Charlottesville, VA, are seeking to establish non-specific, work-order driven contracts for environmental and landfill support services.
This procurement aims to enhance the operational efficiency of the Authorities in managing waste and environmental concerns.

Work Details
The Consultant will provide environmental consulting services related to Environmental and Landfill Services at the RSWA’s Ivy Solid Waste and Recycling Center (ISWRC) and other locations as requested by the Authorities.
Specific services will be outlined in executed Work Authorizations that may include:
- A statement of services to be furnished
- Anticipated start and completion dates
- Deadlines for reporting progress
- Ceiling or fixed price details
- Fee amounts
- Work authorization types (fixed price or time and materials)
- Identification of project managers from both parties.
The Consultant must submit proposals for each Work Authorization detailing the description of work, schedule for completion, key personnel involved, and pricing structure.
All work must comply with federal, state, or local guidelines.

Period of Performance
The contract term will commence on July 1, 2025, and terminate on June 30, 2026.
The agreement may be renewed for up to ten additional one-year terms upon mutual written agreement.

Place of Performance
The primary location for performance will be at the RSWA’s Ivy Solid Waste and Recycling Center (ISWRC) in Charlottesville, Virginia.
