RFP 25-02-CH Multi-parameter Sonde Systems Equipment, Repair, Parts and Labor

Background
The Commonwealth of Virginia's Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is seeking proposals to establish a term contract for the provision of Multi-parameter Sonde Systems, including repair services and replacement parts.

The DEQ utilizes over thirty-five Sonde systems daily to monitor water quality across approximately 1,500 locations annually, necessitating a reliable source for equipment and maintenance.

Work Details
The contract will encompass the following:
1. Supply of new Sonde Systems that include hardware (accessories, cables, connectors), software, and documentation necessary for operation.
2. Provision of calibration chambers with peripherals for at least one year.
3. All Sonde Systems must be factory calibrated, new (not refurbished), and utilize the latest technology available as of the solicitation date.
4. Technical specifications for sonde probes must include capabilities to measure optical dissolved oxygen, pH, temperature, specific conductance, depth, and salinity with defined accuracy and response times.
5. A handheld display must be provided that meets IP67 standards and can operate for over 12 hours with a three-year warranty.
6. Repair services must include diagnostic evaluations, preventative maintenance, and non-warranty repairs with detailed estimates provided before work commences.
7. Delivery of all systems and parts must be F.O.B. Destination to various DEQ locations in Virginia.

Period of Performance
The initial contract period is one year with four optional one-year renewal periods.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at various DEQ locations across Virginia including Glen Allen, Richmond, Woodbridge, Abingdon, Virginia Beach, and Harrisonburg.
