RFP 24-2690-5ARA Instructional Staff Coaching and Professional Learning for Henrico County Schools

Background
The Commonwealth of Virginia, through the County of Henrico, is seeking proposals for instructional staff coaching and professional learning services for Henrico County Public Schools (HCPS).
HCPS serves over 50,000 students from diverse backgrounds and has established a Strategic Plan focusing on Academic Growth, Safety and Wellness, Equity and Opportunity, and Relationships.
The goal of this RFP is to obtain services from a qualified firm that can provide tailored coaching and professional learning based on the specific needs of each school.

Work Details
The Successful Offeror will provide all supervision, labor, and materials necessary to fulfill the requirements outlined in the Scope of Services.
Key components include:
1. Instructional coaching and professional learning services including print or web-based resources, sustained professional development, ongoing district consultation.
2. A research-based solution incorporating current best practices.
3. Conducting a needs assessment to identify strengths and opportunities for improvement.
4. Initial and ongoing on-site professional learning sessions for teachers and administrators.
5. Access to web-based professional development resources such as webinars, videos, printables, FAQs.
6. Coaching and mentoring services for instructional staff and administrators.
7. Collaboration with division staff to align HCPS Teaching and Learning Framework with the aligned curriculum.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award in September 2024 and will continue through September 30, 2025.
It may be renewed for up to four additional one-year periods at the County's discretion.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed within Henrico County Public Schools facilities.
