RFP 24-25-089 Overhead Transformers

Background
The City of Danville, Virginia, is seeking proposals for the procurement of overhead transformers. The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to secure pricing from manufacturers located in North America that meets the specifications outlined in the solicitation. The City aims to ensure that the selected vendor provides the most advantageous pricing and quality for its electrical transformer needs.

Work Details
The selected vendor will be responsible for providing various types of overhead transformers as specified in Section 4 and Section 5 of the RFP. The transformers required include:

- 35 units of 25 kVA Single bushing 7.2kV-120/240V transformers
- 30 units of 37.5 kVA Single bushing 7.2kV-120/240V transformers
- 30 units of 50 kVA Single bushing 7.2kV-120/240V transformers
- 5 units of 75 kVA Single bushing 7.2kV-120/240V transformers
- 10 units of 15 kVA two bushing 7.2kV-120/240V transformers
- 10 units of 25 kVA two bushing 7.2kV-120/240V transformers
- 5 units of 75 kVA two bushing 7.2kV-120/240V transformers
- 10 units of 25 kVA two bushing 7.2kV-277V transformers
- 10 units of 50 kVA two bushing 7.2kV-277V transformers.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a timeframe that aligns with the delivery requirements specified in the proposal. Proposals are due by April 9, 2025.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to the City of Danville, Virginia, specifically to the Purchasing Department located at 427 Patton Street, Room 304, Danville, VA.
