RFP #2025-37-VPA STS Crane Demolition & Removal Services

Background
The Virginia Port Authority (VPA) is seeking proposals for the demolition and removal of four (4) Ship-to-Shore Cranes at Norfolk International Terminals (NIT). This initiative is part of VPA's efforts to accommodate significant growth in business, as the Port of Virginia has become the third largest general cargo port on the US East Coast.

The goal of this contract is to ensure efficient crane demolition and removal services to support ongoing operations.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the complete demolition and removal of four Ship-to-Shore Cranes located at Norfolk International Terminals. The work includes all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to safely execute the demolition process.

The contractor must comply with all safety regulations and environmental standards during the execution of this project. Specific tasks include site preparation, crane disassembly, debris removal, and restoration of the site post-demolition.
