RFP 2024-08 Information Technology Research Subscription Services

Background
The Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA) is seeking proposals for Information Technology (IT) Research Subscription Services to support the Commonwealth of Virginia and its Authorized Users.
The goal is to establish a contract that meets the immediate and future IT research needs of the Commonwealth, providing access to the latest research, information repositories, technologies, and techniques through an online portal.
VITA aims to enhance procurement opportunities for small and micro businesses while ensuring compliance with state laws regarding discrimination and procurement practices.

Work Details
The Supplier will provide a range of IT Research Subscription Services including:
- Access to online repositories of market research, information, and reports.
- Optional analyst services for high-quality analysis and insights into IT-related topics.
- Delivery of various IT research needs primarily through secure online platforms.
- Innovative IT research models that adapt to changing requirements and business needs.
- Competitive pricing models that are predictable and demonstrate value for taxpayer dollars.
- Compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with objective measurements to ensure supplier accountability.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for an initial term of up to two years, with the possibility of two additional two-year renewal periods.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed primarily in Richmond, Virginia, but may also be utilized by Authorized Users across the Commonwealth of Virginia and other states.
