Description

The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to solicit sealed proposals to establish contracts through competitive negotiation for the provision of mathematics basal resources. Fairfax County Public Schools (herein referred to as FCPS , County ) intends to award one basal resource for each of the courses listed in Attachment A Mathematics Course List. FCPS defines basal as a core tier one curriculum designed to provide grade level instruction aligned to the Virginia Department of Education State Standards and FCPS Program of Studies.
Background
Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) is seeking to establish contracts for the provision of mathematics basal resources as part of their core curriculum. The goal is to provide grade-level instruction that aligns with the Virginia Department of Education State Standards and FCPS Program of Studies.

This Request for Proposal (RFP) aims to award one basal resource for each course listed in the Mathematics Course List provided in Attachment A.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for supplying mathematics basal resources that meet the following criteria:
- The resources must be aligned with the Virginia Department of Education State Standards and FCPS Program of Studies.
- Each resource must be suitable for grade-level instruction across various mathematics courses as specified in Attachment A.
- The proposal must include detailed descriptions of the resources, including any supplementary materials, digital components, and assessment tools that support the curriculum.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to last through the 2025 academic year, with proposals due by December 13, 2024.

Place of Performance
The services will primarily be performed within Fairfax County, Virginia.
