Background
Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), a public institution of higher education located in Richmond, Virginia, is seeking proposals from firms to provide premium custodial services for its designated athletic facilities. The goal of this contract is to ensure high-quality cleaning and maintenance standards across various athletic venues, supporting VCU's mission as a leading educational institution.

Work Details
The selected firm will provide custodial services for the following VCU Athletic Facilities:

- Academic Commons
- Basketball Development Center
- Bowe St. Baseball Performance Center & Athletic Locker Rooms
- Golf Practice Facility at First Tee Richmond
- Sports Backers Stadium
- Sports Medicine Building
- Stuart C. Siegel Center
- Thalhimer Tennis Center

Services include routine cleaning of entrances, lobbies, offices, conference rooms, restrooms, locker rooms, and other specified areas. The firm must maintain a 'Level of Clean' between Level 1 (Orderly Spotlessness) and Level 2 (Ordinary Tidiness) as defined by APPA standards. Additionally, the firm will provide emergency cleaning services 24/7 and must adhere to Virginia Occupational Safety and Health (VOSH) standards. All necessary labor, supervision, equipment, and materials are to be included in the firm's hourly rates; however, paper supplies will be provided by VCU.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract is one year with the option for four successive one-year renewals upon mutual agreement between VCU and the selected firm.

Place of Performance
The custodial services will be performed at various locations within VCU's athletic facilities in Richmond, Virginia.
