Background
The Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) is the single State agency in Virginia that administers the Medicaid program and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (FAMIS).

DMAS is seeking a qualified firm to provide Printing and Mailing Services, including Storage and Distribution of materials, to ensure timely communication of critical information to stakeholders as mandated by federal and state requirements. The contract aims to enhance DMAS's ability to manage communications effectively, particularly in light of recent transitions to a new Medicaid Enterprise System (MES).

Work Details
The services required under this contract include:
1. Printing of various materials including routine correspondence, forms, and notifications.
2. Storage of physical stock and management of inventory.
3. Distribution of printed materials through direct mailing to enrolled providers and members.
4. Integration with the Virginia Integrated Services Solution (ISS) for data-driven mailing projects based on actionable data from various MES modules such as Provider Services Solution (PRSS), Fiscal Agent Services (FAS), Appeals (APLS), and Service Authorization module from Acentra Health.
5. The supplier must be capable of handling scheduled mailings that may occur daily, weekly, monthly, or on specific dates as determined by DMAS.

Period of Performance
The initial period of performance for this contract is anticipated to be four (4) years from the date of contract execution, with two optional renewal periods of up to twenty-four (24) months each.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at locations designated by DMAS within the Commonwealth of Virginia.
