Background
Virginia Western Community College is seeking a qualified firm to furnish, deliver, install, and provide training for a Simulator Solutions™ Ambulance Simulator. The goal of this contract is to enhance the training capabilities of the college's emergency medical services program. This solicitation is set aside for small businesses certified by the Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity (DSBSD).

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following:

1) Furnishing and delivering one Simulator Solutions™ Ambulance Simulator with specific dimensions and features including a 12 ft length, 7 ft width, and 8-8.8 ft height;

2) Installation of the simulator at the Greenfield Education & Training Center located at 57 South Center Drive, Daleville, VA;

3) Providing training for instructors at the same location. The simulator must include features such as overhead LED lighting, functional outlets, emergency lights, an internal speaker system, high-definition cameras with audio capability, an instructor control panel with monitors, and various safety and operational equipment.

Period of Performance
The anticipated completion date for delivery and installation is January 15, 2026.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Greenfield Education & Training Center located at 57 South Center Drive, Daleville, VA.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be DSBSD-certified micro businesses or small businesses to qualify for this contract. They are required to submit a Small Business Subcontracting Plan detailing their compliance with small business participation goals. Additionally, bidders must provide a certificate of insurance as part of their bid submission.
