Work Details
The scope of work includes:
1. Removal of an existing chiller and cooling tower.
2. Disconnection of an existing air handler from the project system.
3. Addition of the air handler to the building chilled water system fed from the central plant.
4. Replacement of two chilled water pumps and resizing of main chilled water piping and runout sizes to accommodate added load.
5. Compliance with Virginia Existing Building Code, Virginia Energy Conservation Code, and other relevant standards for HVAC systems.

Bidder Requirements

Contractors are responsible for ensuring that all materials used do not contain asbestos in concentrations greater than 1%. Additionally, contractors must have appropriate licenses and insurance as required.
