Prisoner Transport Inserts

Background
The Southwest Virginia Regional Jail Authority (SWVRJA) is seeking quotes for inmate transport inserts and accessories. The SWVRJA is comprised of four facilities and currently houses approximately 1,650 inmates, both male and female. The vendor must agree that, in the event of a price decline, the benefit of such lower price shall be extended to the SWVRJA.
The acceptance of a vendor’s quotation will not require the SWVRJA’s purchase of all the items listed. SWVRJA may choose to award this to multiple vendors.

Work Details
The requested items include Havis Prisoner Transport Inserts, Ford Transit Vent Adaptor Kits, Ford Transit Replacement Trim Kits, Roof Load/Backup Lights, Compartment Door Activated Buzzers, Power Vents, Clear Protective Guard and Mounting Brackets. All parts shall be designed to work on a 2023 Ford Transit 350 Cargo van with a 148” wheelbase and a low roof.
The installation will be required, and it will be necessary for the vendor to pick up the vans and return them to Southwest Virginia Regional Jail Authority - Abingdon after installation is complete.

Period of Performance
All quotes must be submitted no later than Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 2:00 PM. The physical address for delivery is 15205 Joe Derting Dr., Abingdon, VA 24210.

Place of Performance
The shipping address for the transport inserts and accessories will be determined once installation has been awarded. The billing address is Southwest Virginia Regional Jail – Abingdon, PO Box 279, Meadowview, VA 24361.
