Printing and Distribution of 45-Hour Parent/Teen Driving Guide (2024)

Background
The Virginia Department of Education (DOE) is seeking bids for the printing and distribution of the 45-Hour Parent/Teen Driving Guide for 2024.
The goal of this contract is to provide high-quality printed materials that meet specific educational needs while adhering to state procurement guidelines.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following:
1. Printing of the 45-Hour Parent/Teen Driving Guide, which requires Class 1 Quality Printing, ensuring critical color matches and high-quality finishing.
2. The contractor must provide a bid that includes unit prices, extensions, and grand totals, with clear indications of any cash discounts for prompt payment.
3. All artwork and materials used in the printing process will become the property of the Commonwealth upon completion.
4. Bids will be rejected if quoted overrun costs equal or exceed the base lot price for equivalent incremental quantities. The agency may accept an underrun if credit is provided at the full base price per unit for the quantity of the underrun.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and will include an option for additional orders within 120 days at original unit prices, not exceeding 100% of the original quantity stated in the contract.

Place of Performance
The printing services will be performed in Virginia, with delivery to specified locations as determined by the Virginia Department of Education.
