Background
The Prince William County is seeking bids for the renovation of the public lobby at the Prince William - Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center (ADC). This project aims to enhance the facility's functionality and aesthetics, ensuring it meets current standards and requirements. Work Details
The scope of work includes:
1. Renovation of the existing public lobby at the ADC located at 9329 Lee Avenue, Manassas, VA 20110.
2. The contractor must provide daily work logs detailing material deliveries, manpower, and work activities.
3. A designated Quality Control officer must be onsite at all times to ensure compliance with contract specifications.
4. A full-time Superintendent fluent in English is required on-site.
5. All work areas must be kept free of debris daily, with a designated area for dumpster placement provided by ADC.
6. Compliance with OSHA safety standards is mandatory, including wearing hard hats, safety vests, and goggles.
7. The contractor must provide a first aid station, drinking water, and sanitary facilities on-site.
8. Security fencing must be provided if additional storage areas are needed outside the building.
9. Communication with ADC inmates is strictly prohibited; all correspondence should go through FCM’s Project Management.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to follow a timeline as specified in the bid documents, with completion expected within a timeframe that aligns with project requirements.
