Plain Concrete & Storm Drainage Construction

Background
The Town of Herndon, Virginia, through its Department of Public Works, is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) to establish a term contract for plain concrete and storm drainage construction. The goal is to engage a qualified contractor who can provide necessary services in accordance with Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) standards.

Work Details
The contract includes the removal of existing concrete and the installation and finishing of various concrete structures such as sidewalks, curbs, gutters, handicapped ramps, aprons, slabs, footings, storm structures, pipes, and related work.

The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials (unless supplied by the Town), equipment, troubleshooting, supervision, and related work required for the project. All work must comply with federal, state, and local regulations as well as OSHA requirements.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract is one year from the date it is fully executed. There are four optional one-year renewals available.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at various locations throughout the Town of Herndon.
