Pest Control Services

Background
The Southeastern Public Service Authority (SPSA) is the regional solid waste collection and disposal agency serving over one million residents in various cities and counties in Virginia.
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals from qualified vendors to provide pest control services for all SPSA owned or operated buildings and grounds.

Work Details
The contractor will provide pest control services, which include:
1. Control of roaches (all types), ants, silverfish, mice, and rats.
2. Installation, refilling, and monitoring of tamper-proof rodent bait stations at all locations as needed for effective rodent control.
3. Monthly service to all locations, with inspections ensuring that bait stations contain enough bait to last a month.
4. The contractor must be licensed for pest control in Virginia and provide a copy of the commercial pesticide application permit upon request.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and will require monthly service visits.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at all SPSA owned or operated buildings and grounds located within the cities of Chesapeake, Franklin, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, and the counties of Isle of Wight and Southampton.
