Personel Care Supplies (Toiletries)

Background
The Commonwealth of Virginia, through its Department of General Services (DGS), Division of Purchases and Supply (DPS), is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) to establish a contract for Personal Care Supplies (Toiletries) for use by various Commonwealth agencies, institutions of higher education, and other public bodies.

The goal is to provide essential personal care items to authorized users, including correctional facilities and state hospitals.

Work Details
The contractor(s) shall furnish and deliver Personal Care Supplies (Toiletries) which include the following categories:
- Soaps
- Deodorants
- Shaving Supplies
- Hair Care products
- Skin Care products
- Feminine Protection items
- Dental Care products
- Miscellaneous personal care products.

Bidders must specify if items have special labels (e.g., alcohol-free, vegan) and list multiple scents as separate line items. Samples may be required for testing by individual agencies. Delivery must occur within 30 calendar days after receipt of purchase order.

Period of Performance
The initial contract period will be from February 20, 2025 to February 19, 2026, with four optional one-year renewal periods.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed within the Commonwealth of Virginia.
