Paper Products RFP 25-098-004

Background
The New Kent County School Board is issuing RFP 25-098-004 for the procurement of paper products on behalf of the New Kent County Public Schools Nutrition Department and the Southside Food Co-Operative School Divisions.

The mission of this RFP is to ensure that participating school divisions receive necessary paper products to support their nutrition programs. The goal is to establish a contract with qualified vendors who can deliver these products efficiently and reliably.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing various paper products as specified in Attachment A Pricing Schedule.

Deliveries will occur weekly to each participating division, with a minimum order requirement of $250 per delivery. The contractor must adhere to a strict delivery schedule, preferably on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays between 7:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Additionally, the contractor must ensure that all packaging is in acceptable condition upon delivery, as damaged packaging will be rejected. In case of shortages or emergency deliveries, arrangements must be made with the Director of School Nutrition for each division.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence on July 1, 2025, and conclude on June 30, 2026, with an option for renewal for up to four additional years.

Place of Performance
Deliveries will be made to various locations as directed by each participating division within the Southside Food Co-Operative.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide evidence of their capability and capacity to fulfill the contract requirements. They should have experience in delivering similar goods and provide references from at least three recent projects.

Additionally, bidders must certify that no individuals providing services have been convicted of any violent felonies or offenses involving child abuse.
