Osbourn Park High School - Lockers Bays to Classrooms

Background
The contract is issued by Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS) for the renovation of Osbourn Park High School, specifically focusing on transforming locker bays into functional office and classroom spaces.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
1. Demolition of existing locker bay areas.
2. Construction of new office and classroom spaces.
3. Masonry, concrete, mechanical, electrical, plumbing demolition and improvements.
4. Carpentry work including flooring installation, glazing, drywall finishing, and painting throughout the school.
5. Abatement of asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) above ceilings in two phases: Phase 1 on the cafeteria side starting June 16, 2026, and Phase 2 on the locker side following that week.
6. Removal and reinstallation of existing low-voltage devices from ceilings prior to abatement.

Period of Performance
The project is scheduled to commence on June 15, 2026, with substantial completion expected by August 9, 2026, and final completion by August 16, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Osbourn Park High School located at 8909 Euclid Avenue, Manassas, VA.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide Performance and Payment Bonds for specific trades including Electrical, Plumbing/HVAC, Sprinkler systems, Roofing, Structural Steel/Joists/Decks, Site Utilities, and Masonry as specified in Section 000100 of the solicitation documents.
No Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation percentage is required for this project.
