NVCC Priority Parking Garage Repairs (FY24)(FY25)

Background
The Northern Virginia Community College (NVCC) is issuing a contract for the Priority Parking Garage Repairs for fiscal years 2024 and 2025. The goal of this project is to provide necessary mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and structural repairs to the NVCC garages located at their Annandale, Alexandria, and Medical Campuses.

The project is identified under Project Code: 260-B3260-092.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for executing MEP and structural repairs as detailed in Volume I and Volume II documents of the project manual. Specific tasks include but are not limited to:
- Mechanical repairs including HVAC systems
- Electrical upgrades and installations
- Plumbing repairs and installations
- Structural reinforcements and repairs as per provided drawings and specifications.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed and is expected to be completed within a specified timeframe outlined in the contract documents. Final completion should occur within thirty (30) days after substantial completion.

Place of Performance
The work will take place at various NVCC campuses including Annandale, Alexandria, and Springfield, Virginia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered vendors in eVA. They are required to have a valid Virginia contractor's license appropriate for the scope of work (Class A or B depending on the total bid amount). Additionally, bidders must provide a Small Business Procurement Plan detailing their proposed percentage of participation by small businesses in the total base bid amount.
