Mount Rogers Community Services- Sealing and Striping of Parking Lots (Wytheville)

Background
Mount Rogers Community Services (MRCS) is a provider of mental health, developmental disability, intellectual disability, and substance use services to the residents of Bland, Carroll, Grayson, Smyth, and Wythe Counties as well as the City of Galax. They are soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide sealing and striping services for parking lots located in Wytheville, VA.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Thorough cleaning and preparation of all parking lot surfaces.
- Crack sealing of all visible surface cracks using appropriate hot or cold crack filler.
- Application of two (2) coats of commercial-grade sealant on each lot.
- Layout and striping of parking spaces including standard parking spaces, ADA-compliant spaces with proper signage and markings, fire lanes, and arrows or other directional indicators as necessary.
- Proper barricading of work zones during the project for safety.
- Disposal of any waste materials per local regulations.

Period of Performance
All work must be completed during weekend hours only, starting no earlier than Friday at 6:00 PM and ending no later than Sunday at 8:00 PM.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at multiple locations in Wytheville, VA specifically at 710 West Ridge Road, 750 West Ridge Road, and 770 West Ridge Road.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must be licensed and insured to perform paving and striping services in Virginia. They should have demonstrated experience with similar multi-lot projects and provide references from at least two previous clients. The contractor must also be able to complete all work within the required weekend timeframe.
