Little River Glen I Apartments & Senior Center Renovations

Background
The Department of Public Works and Environmental Services of the County of Fairfax, Virginia is soliciting sealed bids for the renovation of the Little River Glen I Apartments and Senior Center (LRG I). The project is designed to EarthCraft Multifamily Certified green building standards and Energy Star certification requirements.

Work Details
The work includes the renovation of 120 existing dwelling units within four apartment buildings (2-story and 30 units per building) and a Senior Center. The renovation involves selective demolition, partial interior reconfigurations, new toilet rooms, selective finish upgrades, new cabinets, reroofing, replacing wood siding, windows, and patio doors, and replacing skylights at the Senior Center.
Site improvements include site drainage, ADA upgrades, repaving, and restriping.

The contract length is 492 calendar days.
