Lift Maintenance and Repair IFB

Background
This solicitation is being conducted on behalf of the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) to include its 23 Community Colleges, System Office, and Shared Services Center. Virginia’s Community colleges serve an estimated 200,000 people across the state. The opportunities provided include some of the most cutting-edge and highly demanded training and education available. The newest Strategic Plan, Complete 2021, contains a single goal: to triple the credentials students earn in academic and workforce areas.

Work Details
Establish a contract with one or more qualified Contractor(s) to provide Mobile Aerial Lift Equipment Repair and Maintenance as needed for all six (6) campus locations of Northern Virginia Community College (NVCC): Alexandria, Annandale, Manassas, Medical Education Campus (Springfield), Loudoun, and Woodbridge. The Contractor shall provide all necessary transportation, equipment, labor, supervision, materials, tools, parts, supplies, incidentals, and all other items required to fully maintain NVCC’s Mobile Aerial Lift Equipment. The Contractor shall not subcontract work secured by the contract to any other sole or corporate entity.
All work performed under the contract shall be performed in accordance with all federal, state, and local codes, rules and regulations.

Period of Performance
Bids will be Received Until: July 1, 2024 for One (1) Year,
with Four (4) Optional One (1) Year Renewal

The geographic location(s) where the contract will be performed are the six campus locations of Northern Virginia Community College: Alexandria,
Annandale,
Manassas,
Medical Education Campus (Springfield),
Loudoun,
and Woodbridge.
