Description

L55_2024 ON-CALL BRIDGE MAINTENANCELocation: Various(Prequalification Required)All questions must be submitted to VDOT using CABB.(Contractors Advertisement Bulletin Board)
Background
The Commonwealth of Virginia, through its Department of Transportation (VDOT), is issuing a solicitation for an On-Call Bridge Maintenance contract. This contract aims to provide maintenance services for various bridges across the Fredericksburg district, ensuring the safety and functionality of the transportation infrastructure.

The project is identified under FHWA number STP-PM06(413) and project number BRDG-966-689, N501.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for a variety of bridge maintenance tasks including:

1. Tack Coat (500 gallons)
2. Asphalt Concrete Type SM-12.5A (25 tons)
3. Asphalt Concrete Type SM-9.5E (25 tons)
4. Asphalt Concrete BMD P+VO Type 9.5D (10 tons)
5. Asphalt Concrete BMD P+VO Type 12.5D (10 tons)
6. Concrete Class A4 Modification Low Shrinkage for Structural Maintenance (5 cubic yards)
7. Bridge Deck Grooving (400 square yards)
8. Crack Repair Types A, B, and C with specified linear feet and quantities
9. Embedded Galvanic Anodes (300 units)
10. Various other structural repairs including shotcrete application, concrete surface repair, and installation of aluminum railings and guardrails.

Period of Performance
The contract period is set to commence upon award and is expected to be completed by December 1, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at various locations within the Fredericksburg district in Virginia.
