King George County Service Authority Wastewater Pump and Haul

Background
The King George County Service Authority, a political subdivision of the Commonwealth of Virginia, is seeking bids for the Wastewater Pump and Haul services at its Water Treatment Plants.

The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to establish a firm fixed price from qualified sources to perform these services in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all necessary labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, permitting, clean-up, and stabilization of disturbed areas required to perform the wastewater pump and haul services.

The estimated volume of wastewater to be pumped and hauled annually is approximately 965,000 gallons across five locations: Purkins Corner WWTP, Dahlgren WWTP, Oakland Park WWTP, Fairview Beach WWTP, and Hopyard WWTP.

The contractor must be available 24/7 for service requests and must respond within two hours of notification. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for cleaning up any spills during loading and transport and must notify regulatory agencies as required.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for one year from the notice to proceed with options for three one-year renewals based on mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations within King George County, Virginia, specifically at the designated Water Treatment Plants.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a minimum of three years' experience in similar work. They must be authorized to transact business in Virginia and provide proof of such authorization with their bid submission.

Additionally, bidders are required to hold a valid business license as per King George County regulations if their earnings exceed specified thresholds.
