Kettle and Oven Replacement

Background
The Fairfax County Sheriff's Office is seeking to procure two convection ovens and one stationary kettle for the Adult Detention Center (ADC) Kitchen. The goal of this contract is to enhance the kitchen's operational capabilities by replacing outdated equipment with new, compliant units that meet specific safety and operational standards.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following items:

1. Two (2) Convection Ovens, Model # VC44GD:
- Double-deck configuration with solid state controls.
- Features include electronic spark igniters, a 60-minute timer, and five nickel plated racks per oven.
- Constructed with stainless steel front, top, sides, and doors with double pane windows.
- Each oven has a capacity of 50,000 BTU/hr; total of 100,000 BTU/hr for both.
- Must comply with NSF, CSA Star, CSA Flame, and ENERGY STAR® standards.
- Includes a one-year limited parts and labor warranty.
- Requires natural gas connection (specify elevation if over 2,000 ft).
- Comes with gas manifold piping included in the stacking kit for a single point gas connection.

2. One (1) Electric Stationary Kettle, Model #: EL80:
- Fully jacketed with an 80-gallon capacity.
- Features include a spring-assisted hinged cover, a 2" plug draw-off valve with perforated strainer, graduated measuring rod, faucet bracket, and stainless steel construction with a 316 series stainless steel liner.
- Requires a power supply of 480v/60/3-ph at 36kW.
- Includes a standard security package with security fasteners and tack welds.
- Comes with SGLTS 18NZLJ SINGLE Pantry Deck Mount Faucet (18" double jointed swivel spout).

3. Uninstalling and removing old units as well as proper disposal of one Vulcan 80-gallon Kettle Model EL80 and two Vulcan Double Convection Ovens.

Period of Performance
The completion of work must occur within two (2) days after the commencement of work.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center located at 10520 Judicial Drive, Fairfax Virginia.
