ITB 24-50TM Power Plant Parkway Sidewalk

Background
The City of Hampton, Virginia is issuing an Invitation to Bid (ITB 24-50TM) for the construction of sidewalks along Power Plant Parkway.
This project is part of the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) initiative aimed at improving roadway infrastructure and pedestrian safety.
It is federally funded under Project No.: STP-5A04(270) and VDOT Project No.: 0415-114-328.

Work Details
The work under this project includes:
1. Constructing concrete sidewalks and asphalt paths behind existing curbs.
2. Installing pedestrian signals and crosswalks.
3. Clearing and grubbing the site.
4. Providing various materials including aggregate material, asphalt concrete, standard curb, detectable warning surfaces, hydraulic cement concrete sidewalks, and more as detailed in the bid tabulation sheet.
5. Performing regular excavation, mobilization, construction surveying, maintenance of traffic, soil stabilization, erosion and sediment control, relocating existing signs and mailboxes, adjusting communication vaults and water meters, and installing sign posts.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of 180 days from the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The work will be conducted in the City of Hampton, Virginia.
