Invitation To Bid: Roanoke Area Waterline Replacement Project - Phase Ii

Background
The Western Virginia Water Authority is issuing this solicitation for the Roanoke Area Waterline Replacement Project - Phase II. The Authority's mission includes providing safe and reliable water services to the community. This project aims to replace aging water infrastructure to enhance service delivery in Roanoke, Virginia.

Work Details
The project consists of the replacement of approximately 21,000 linear feet of existing 12-inch and smaller water mains with new 8-inch and 12-inch water mains, along with associated appurtenances.

Bids will be received for a single prime contract on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid security must be furnished as per the Instructions to Bidders.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is expected to commence upon award and continue until project completion, with bids due by May 27, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in Roanoke, Virginia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide evidence of authorization to transact business in Virginia by submitting their identification number issued by the State Corporation Commission. The contract is expected to be funded in part from the Virginia Department of Health - Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF).

Compliance with various federal regulations including Executive Orders regarding discrimination, minimum wages, and utilization of MBE/WBE subcontractors is required.
