The contractor shall provide one hundred (100) Norix Comfort Shield Custody Mattresses, specifically Model Number MCX4-2775-P2DB-61, with dimensions of 25W x 75” L x 4.5” H and weighing 14 lbs.
The mattresses must have the following specifications:
- Black cover color made from polyurethane coated polyester material on both sides.
- Fiber core encased mattress designed for institutional environments, featuring sealed seams with reinforced stitching for enhanced durability against bodily fluids and contraband.
- Three-layer cover material with reinforcing rip-stop scrim for maximum security.
- Compliance with Greenguard Gold environmental standards and bed bug resistance.
- Inverted RF welded sealed seams reinforced with security stitching.
- Fabrication includes an 11oz/sq. ft. densified polyester fiber core encased in a fortified rip-stop, fire-retardant cover.
- Anti-microbial and anti-fungal properties for infection control, along with a breathable vent that repels fluids such as oil, water, blood, and urine.
