IFB158787 Pipe Rehabilitation Lynchburg District Complex

Background
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide pipe rehabilitation services for VDOT Lynchburg District Complex. The contract period is from the date of award through June 5, 2024 (nonrenewable). Bidders are required to submit a Small Business Subcontracting Plan (SBSP) with the electronic bid response in eVA. The plan value should be submitted as a percentage if the bidder is not certified as a small business by the Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity at the time of bid closing.

Work Details
The work consists of rehabilitating existing storm water and surface water pipe culverts at various locations within the Lynchburg District Complex. The rehabilitation involves methods such as fold and form flexible liners, post-installation inspection, measurement and payment based on linear feet of pipe, environmental requirements, traffic control, personnel requirements, manner of conducting work at the job site, mandatory pre-bid conference/site visit, method for payment, invoicing, bidder's instructions and public bid opening.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at various locations within the Lynchburg District Complex.
