IFB SA 2419 Yorkshire Sewage Pumping Station, L30 - Retaining Wall

Background
The solicitation is for the construction of a retaining wall at the Yorkshire Sewage Pumping Station, L30. The project is issued by the Service Authority and will be performed in Manassas, VA. The contract involves site preparation, excavation, fill placement, compaction, grading, demolition of an existing wooden retaining wall, sediment and erosion control, construction of a new engineered reinforced concrete slab and retaining wall, replacement of the existing fence and gates, removal of an existing fence surrounding wet well, relocation of SCADA antennas, and demobilization.

Work Details
The work includes mobilization, site preparation, excavation, fill placement, compaction, grading, demolition of the existing wooden retaining wall, sediment and erosion control, construction of a new engineered reinforced concrete slab and retaining wall, replacement of the existing fence and gates, removal of an existing fence surrounding wet well, relocation of SCADA antennas, and demobilization.
A pre-bid conference is scheduled for May 16th via MS Teams. A site visit will be held on May 20th at 7415 Lake Drive, Manassas. Questions should be submitted by May 28th. Bid submission deadline is June 13th at 10:00 AM EST. Bids will be opened immediately after the close of bid submission via MS Teams. Digital copies of bid documents are available upon request.

Period of Performance
The project has a deadline for bid submission on June 13th, 2024. The pre-bid conference is scheduled for May 16th and a site visit will be held on May 20th.
