IFB No 14301-FY24-32 Morven Park Sidewalk Road Improvements

Background
The Town of Leesburg is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors to provide Morven Park Sidewalk Road Improvements. The work includes all labor and material necessary for construction of improvements to Morven Park Road from West Market Street (Route 7 Business) and Old Waterford Road, including demolition, maintenance of traffic, earthwork, curb and gutter, pavement, sidewalk, storm drainage, sanitary sewer, and other related items in accordance with plans and specifications.

Work Details
The work details include a comprehensive list of items such as mobilization/demobilization, construction survey, test pits, clearing/shrub removal, tree removal by arborist, air tool investigation/root pruning, construction entrance, VDOT standard EC-5 type A silt fence installation, tree protection, demolition/replacement/relocation/restoration of various structures like wooden fences, concrete sidewalks and curbs, maintenance of traffic services including flagger services and road closure signs installation, storm sewer works including various sizes of RCP Class III installation and manhole installations, sanitary sewer works including force main installation and manhole adjustments, pavement works including asphalt and concrete sidewalks/driveways installations and base materials placement, pavement marking and signs relocation/installation such as speed limit signs and street name signs relocation/replace/repairing with new signs. It also includes earthwork activities such as unclassified excavation to haul off-site, lime treatment for topsoil stabilization if required, grading area between limits of disturbance and curb or sidewalk.
