IFB GMU-KS0227-24 Audio Visual (AV) Equipment & Installation Services for Project 247-18482-000 for the FUSE IDIA Building at the Arlington Campus

Background
The solicitation is for Audio Visual (AV) Equipment & Installation Services for Project 247-18482-000 for the FUSE IDIA Building at the Arlington Campus of George Mason University. The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to establish a contract with one qualified source to provide a turn-key Audio-Visual system including all equipment, materials, installation services, labor, supervision and systems programming services.

Work Details
The bidder shall provide all necessary supervision, labor, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation as needed to provide all audio-visual equipment, installation, and systems programming in accordance with all the terms, specifications, drawings, and conditions for the Mason Fitout Areas ONLY (not in the core and shell areas) of the building. The work includes site survey, acquisition of AV equipment and systems, infrastructure utilization, materials and equipment procurement, installation/test, cabling, programming, system configuration, warranty activation and security.
The Contractor shall also provide training documents on on-site training on use of technology in these spaces.

Period of Performance
The entire project including delivery of equipment and service and installation must be completed in phases with Phase I Completed no later than August 20, 2024,
Phase II No later than October 22, 2024
and Phase III (FINAL PHASE) No later than May 02, 2025.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at George Mason University's FUSE Building at Mason Square (Arlington Campus), located at 3351 Fairfax Dr., Arlington, VA 22201.
