IFB 762 - Paving at Grangeville Convenience Center and Multiple County Owned Parking Lots

Background
The County of Accomack, Virginia is seeking sealed bids from qualified, licensed contractors for paving at the Grangeville Convenience Center and multiple Accomack County owned parking lots. The work generally consists of milling and paving multiple parking lots. The County will waive the tipping fees for all materials removed from this project and delivered to the North Landfill by the Contractor, including: concrete, dewatered soil, vegetation, timber.
The contractor is responsible to obtain any necessary County permits, but the fees will be waived.

Work Details
The work includes milling and paving multiple parking lots at various locations including Grangeville Convenience Center, Accomack County Garage, County Administration Parking Lot, Accomack Social Services Parking Lot, and Eastern Shore 911 Center Parking Lots and Accomack County Health Department Road. Each location has specific scope of work detailed in the solicitation including surface area measurements, removal of existing stone or vegetation, pavement thickness, restriping of parking spaces, and waste removal.
All construction methods and materials shall be in accordance with current VDOT standards and specifications.

Period of Performance
Work shall be completed 60 days after issue of Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at various locations within Accomack County.
