IFB 2025-068 Tree Removal Services

Background
The City of Lynchburg, Virginia, is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) #2025-068 to establish a contract for tree removal services.
The purpose of this contract is to ensure safe and efficient operations utilizing specialized machinery and equipment for tree removal throughout the city on an as-needed basis.

Work Details
The contractor will provide tree removal services which include but are not limited to:
1. Removal of trees as specified by the City;
2. Use of specialized machinery and equipment for safe operations;
3. Disposal of removed trees and debris in accordance with local regulations;
4. Compliance with all applicable laws and safety standards during the execution of work.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and will continue on an as-needed basis until the completion of the required services or until terminated by either party in accordance with the terms outlined in the contract.

Place of Performance
All services will be performed throughout the City of Lynchburg, Virginia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate experience in tree removal services, possess necessary licenses and insurance, and comply with local regulations.
Additionally, bidders are encouraged to utilize small, minority-owned, and women-owned businesses in their subcontracting efforts.
