IFB 2025-030 Motor Oil for Fleet

Background
Roanoke County is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) No. 2025-030 to procure motor oil for its Fleet Division. The County aims to ensure that its fleet operates efficiently by sourcing high-quality motor oil that meets the necessary specifications for various vehicles.

The procurement process is open to qualified vendors who can meet the outlined requirements.

Work Details
The successful bidder will be required to provide the following motor oils:

1. Synthetic blend 5W-20 automotive oil that meets API-SN Service Classification, suitable for bulk filling in the County's tanks.
2. 15W-40 multi-grade motor oil compliant with API Service classification CJ-4, suitable for diesel and gasoline engines, also for bulk fill.
3. AW-68 hydraulic oil, again for bulk fill in the County's tanks.

All oils must be new (virgin), and refined or recycled oils will not be accepted. Delivery of all products will be made to the Fleet Service Center located at 5235 Hollins Road, Roanoke, Virginia 24019.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a term of one year from the date of award, with the possibility of renewal for up to four additional one-year periods upon mutual agreement.
