Description

Provide spare parts for the Gilmerton Bridge flood gate.
Background
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB # 159346) to procure spare parts for the Gilmerton Bridge flood gate. The goal of this contract is to ensure the availability of necessary components to maintain the functionality and safety of the flood gate system, which is critical for managing water flow and preventing flooding in the area.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish and deliver proprietary/brand name only parts as specified in Attachment A of this IFB. All items must be delivered to VDOT Wayside at 120 South Military Highway, Norfolk, VA 23502. Delivery hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. No deliveries will be accepted on State and Federal Holidays. The bid price must include all costs associated with the items and delivery; no additional charges will be permitted.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence from the date of award and will last for sixty (60) days. This contract is non-renewable.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at VDOT Wayside located at 120 South Military Highway, Norfolk, VA 23502.
