IFB 159150 - Dresser RCS Actuators

Background
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is seeking bids from qualified firms to furnish and deliver six (6) Dresser RCS Actuators.

This procurement is part of VDOT's mission to maintain and improve transportation infrastructure in Virginia. The contract aims to ensure the availability of compatible actuators for existing equipment at the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel Administration Building.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide six (6) Dresser RCS Actuators, specifically Model MAR250-30.

The specifications for these actuators are as follows:
- 440 VAC, 3 Phase, 60 Hz
- On-Off service with motor brake and reversing contactor
- 5,000 in lbs. output torque
- Capable of completing a 90-degree revolution in 30 seconds
- Must be CSA approved.

Delivery must be made to the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel Administration Building located at 204 National Ave., Hampton, VA 23663. The contractor must notify VDOT twenty-four (24) hours prior to delivery to ensure personnel are available for verification of received items.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence from the date of award and will last for three (3) months. This contract is non-renewable.

Place of Performance
The delivery location for the actuators is the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel Administration Building at 204 National Ave., Hampton, VA 23663.
