IFB 02-4101-25 Street Resurfacing & Restriping For the City of Williamsburg

The City of Williamsburg, Virginia will receive sealed Bids for the above titled project at the office of theDirector of Public Works, located at 401 Lafayette Street, Williamsburg, VA 23185 until 2:00 p.m. localtime on September 25, 2024, at which time the Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any Bidsreceived after the specified time and date will not be considered.The Work under this Project generally consists of removal of existing pavements by milling, placementof bituminous concrete pavement, and associated pavement markings, and miscellaneous work,including but not limited to utility adjustments, line and symbol striping, shoulder upgrade, andguardrail installation within certain public rights of way and properties of the City of Williamsburg.This project will be locally administered by the City of Williamsburg.Bid Documents may be examined at the offices of the Director of Public Works, City of Williamsburg,located at 401 Lafayette Street, Williamsburg, VA 23185. Bid Documents may be obtained from the City ofWilliamsburg website http://www.williamsburgva.gov. Neither the Owner nor any of its representativesshall be responsible for full or partial sets of Contract Documents, including addenda, obtained from anyother source.This project shall be constructed in accordance with: the plans; the Virginia Department of TransportationRoad and Bridge Specifications, dated 2020 and the Supplement thereto, dated 2022; and the VirginiaDepartment of Transportation Road and Bridge Standards, dated 2016 with revisions issued online as of theadvertisement date for this project; the Virginia Work Area Protection Manual (Revision 2.1), datedNovember 1, 2020; the 2009 edition of the MUTCD with Revision Numbers 1 and 2 incorporated, datedMay 2012; the 2011 Virginia Supplement to the MUTCD with Revision Number 1, dated September 30,2013; and Supplemental Specifications, Special Provisions and Special Provision Copied Notes in thiscontract.All work shall be completed within 90 days of Notice to Proceed.
