Gymnastics Equipment, Installation and Maintenance

Background
The Arlington County Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) is seeking to purchase gymnastics equipment for its recreation and competitive programs. This Quick Quote is specifically for the acquisition of gymnastics equipment, installation of the purchased equipment, and maintenance/service of previously purchased equipment located within the Barcroft Sports and Fitness Center gymnastics rooms.

Work Details
The contract involves the following key components:

1. Purchase of gymnastics equipment including but not limited to:
- AAI Springboards (7)
- SA Sport Springboards (2)
- Norbert’s Springboards (2)
- AAI Vault Table (1)
- AAI Elite Balance Beams (3)
- AAI Uneven Bar sets (2)
- Various other gymnastics apparatus as detailed in the Major Gymnastics Equipment List.

2. Installation of purchased equipment must be completed within 90 calendar days after receipt of purchase order, or within 45 days if items are not in stock.

3. Maintenance/service of existing gymnastics equipment must be completed within 45 calendar days after receipt of purchase order, or within 60 days if parts are not readily available. The vendor must also provide assessment and recommendations for existing equipment needing replacement or repair.

Period of Performance
The work under this contract will begin upon receipt by the Contractor of an approved County Purchase Order and will be completed no later than the date indicated in the Quick Quote or on the Purchase Order.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Barcroft Sports and Fitness Center located in Arlington, Virginia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have at least 7 years of experience in gymnastics equipment sales, installation, and maintenance. They must be registered with the Virginia State Corporation Commission (SCC) and provide their SCC number upon request. Insurance requirements include providing a Certificate of Insurance showing coverage levels that meet specified limits prior to award. Additionally, bidders must comply with local business license requirements.
